PARASKEVI-MARIA (VIVIKA) KOURGIA
Vivika is a chemist and a PhD student in the University of Athens. She holds an MSc in Chemistry and Environmental Technology from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Athens. In her MSc Thesis she studied the distribution of heavy metals in soil of a NW suburb of Athens (Acharnes). She now continues her research in urban geochemistry through her PhD project entitled: "Environmental behavior of potentially harmful elements in urban soil and sediment, focusing on surface runoff".
