Urban geochemistry is a fascinating research topic. Our group aspires to develop projects relevant to several aspects of the urban environment such as environmental risk assessment, urban agriculture, the lithogeochemistry of Athens as well as the quality of surface run off in the city. Several on-going student dissertations and theses, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, are focusing on both basic research and on finding solutions to specific problems of concern to Municipalitites, decision makers, NGOs and citizens.
