Research Interests
Our main research interests are the design and synthesis of lipolytic enzyme inhibitors, mainly serine hydrolases such as phosphoplipases A2 and digestive lipases, the development of novel antimycobacterial agents, as well as new synthetic methogologies for the synthesis of medicinally interesting compounds that incorporate Green Chemistry principles, such as organocatalysis and microwave irradiation.
