I am currently working on a project which aims to study users' attitudes towards elevators, their fears and suggestions for the improvement of the user experience. The project is funded by KLEEMANN, one of the major lift companies in the European and global market.
Since 2018, I am the scientific director of a consortium working on the development of an innovative gamification application in the field of vocational training and education (IGNITE). The project, with a total budget of € 260k, is being implemented under Intervention I "Research and Development by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" of the "RESEARCH-CREATIVITY-INNOVATION" Action Cycle and is financed by the Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation" under the NSRF 2014-2020.
I am also coordinating the NKUA research team which participates as a partner at the project titled “eSafetyLabel+: Become the next eSafety champion”. The project is implemented under the Erasmus+ program, is funded by the Key Action 2 (KA2) - Cooperation for innovation, and aims to mobilise and foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices among a wide community of European teachers and other school actors to better equip schools for a safe and responsible digital future.
Between October 2018 and May 2019, I coordinated a research team who studied Greek public servants' readiness in digital technologies and proposed policies to combat digital exclusion. The research was funded by the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA).
I am testing the psychometric properties of the Greek Pathological Internet Use Scale (GPIUS) which I have constructed along with Efi Delizisi, and of the Psychosocial Risks in the Workplace Assessment (PRIWA) tool, an instrument for psychosocial risk management and organizational development.
