SIZE EXCLUSION CHROMATOGRAPHY IN DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE PLUS 0.1N LiBr
The number average molecular weight, weight average molecular weight, molecular weight distribution can all be obtained utilizing the WATERS GPC 2440 size exclusion chromatograph. The WATERS GPC-610 is equipped with a Refractive Index Detector 2440. Analysis with this instrument can be performed at room temperature. The column set installed in this instrument consists of the following four columns: WATERS; 7.5x300 mm; 10 µm; 500, 10E3, and 10E5 Å. The calibration range is ≈600 to 650,000 daltons using PS standards. It is especially made to analyze polypeptides.
