Overview

Efstratios Kelepertzis is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Geochemistry since 2021. He earned an undergraduate degree in Geology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2003), a MSc degree (2005) in Contaminated Land from the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences of University of Portsmouth (UK) and a PhD in geological and environmental sciences from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2011). Currently, he is teaching environmental geological and geochemical subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and is supervising several dissertations. His main research focuses on the geochemical processes and principles of trace metal (and nutrient) cycling in the environment. His research work (h-index 18) has been published in high impact factor international journals (mainly as the first and/or corresponding author) or presented in international conferences.
