-15- Thus, on the basis of the Markovian MicroPK mechanism, the observed convergence of the MicroPK funnel plot to chance statistical average (50%), can be mathematically shown [1] to be the direct consequence of equal self-transition probabilities: p = q.  The mathematics of the Markovian model nicely show the broadening of variance in the MicroPK funnel plot to arise from self-transition probabilities acquiring values above 50%: p = q > 0.5. This indicates the persistence (or “gluing”) of the same binary state.
