To understand the micro-PK mechanism, the Markovian model was employed. According to it the
“hits” and “misses” in a MicroPK test were considered to be the Markovian states A & B. Four
probabilities govern the system’s evolution: If the current state of the system is A, there is a
probability p that the next state will also be A and a probability 1-p that it will change to B.
Similarly, if the current state of the system is B, there is a probability q=v that the next state will
also be B and a probability 1-q that it will change to A.
