-Isolation of compounds with pharmaceutical and
nutritional interest from natural sources. Search of new lead compounds from
microorganisms, plants and marine oganisms from Greek and Mediterranean flora
and sea. Investigation of plants from tropical regions.
-Design and synthesis of new molecules with
pharmacological interest (kinase inhibitors, neuroprotective agents, antitumor,
