Electronic noise, sampled during variable periods of time, from the circuits of Random Number Generators (RNGs), formed the random records that were further treated by the fractal analysis. Shorter record sequences were found to deviate from randomness (exhibiting persistent fBm behaviour).  Longer data sequences remained random. Pallikari, F. (2001).
