About me

Elias Konstantinidis received the Informatics degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens in 2002. He completed his postgraduate studies with honors in 2009 at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens. In 2017, he successfully defended his PhD in the field of performance modeling for compute accelerators and GPU computing in particular.

His primary interests lie on the performance optimization of GPU kernels, the exploitation of GPUs for numerical methods and the design of implementations for heterogeneous CPU-GPU systems. He has significant experience in the industry as software engineer, where he currently works.

Research Interests : GPU computing and compute accelerators (CUDA, OpenCL, SYCL), Parallel computing (OpenMP, MPI), Modern C++, Software performance optimization, High performance programming models, Computer architecture.
