Interactions of DNA coated upconversion nanoparticles with 2D materials

Abstract

In this work we investigated the nature of the quenching that occurs between different types of 2D materials (WS2, MoS2 and graphene oxide) and oligonucleotide coated-upconversion nanoparticles. This study contributes towards the efficient design of bio-sensors based on 2D materials and DNA-coated upconversion nanoparticles.
