 The MINERvA detector MINERvA (Main INjector ExpeRiment v-A) is a new experiment in the NuMI beam line at Fermilab. It will measure low energy neutrino-nucleus cross sections with unprecitended precision. MINERvA is a collaboration of Nuclear and Particle physicists from 18 Institutions from US, Europe and South America. MINERvA has stage I approval. It is expected to start taking neutrino data in 2008. |
