1989:                    Βραβείο Κ. Κτενά της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών για την εργασία σχετικά με τα πυριτικά ιζηματογενή πετρώματα της νήσου Αίγινας

1990 & 1992:      Χορηγίες Βρετανικού Συμβουλίου για παρουσίαση εργασιών σε συνέδρια, καθώς και για διµερείς επαφές µε στόχο την κατάρτιση κοινών ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων  (Εδιμβούργο και Λονδίνο, αντίστοιχα).

1992 & 1995:      Χορηγίες της ΕΟΚ (ERASMUS) για διµερείς επαφές µε συναδέλφους από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Κοπεγχάγης (Δανία), από τη Μαδρίτη (Ισπανία) και τη Λισσαβώνα (Πορτογαλία) µε στόχο την κατάρτιση κοινών ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων.
