Computer Science is a fascinating scientific discipline, with many intriguing problems to solve and open questions to answer. For that reason I’m interested in everything from Computer Architecture to Programming Language design, but I’m most interested in CPU scheduling and Question-Answering systems.
In regards to CPU scheduling, I am most interested in the problem of scheduling asymmetric CPUs. Be that an instruction-set asymmetry or a performance asymmetry, this additional layer of complexity has a particular charm.
Question-Answering on the other hand, is a topic that has seen a surge in popularity, thanks to the recent advances in the realm of deep learning. I’m mostly interested in Question-Answering over Knowledge Bases, which is also the field of my studies as a PhD candidate.
