From Athens International Airport to City Center

Athens is served by the Athens International Airport “Eleutherios Venizelos”. There are 3 ways to come (go) from (to) Athens International Airport.

1. •By Metro Line 3 Airport - Egaleo (Special ticket of 8 Euros is required)
   

2. •By Bus X95 Airport -Syntagma Square (Special ticket of 5 Euro is required)
   

3. •By TAXI (~35Euros (05:00-24:00) 50Euros (00:00-05:00) to city center)
   

Please note NOT to take the suburban train (Proastiakos in Greek) as it doesn’t go directly to the city center.

If you take a taxi and you need the receipt ask for Apodixi (ΑΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ).

From City Center to National Observatory of Athens

The easiest way to reach the central premises of the National Observatory of Athens is to take metro line 1 and sto at Thissio station (Line 1)
