Scientific techniques and transferable skills
Research techniques: Advanced skills in molecular biology, immunocytochemistry and in situ hybridization; Protein and antibody purification; Confocal microscopy; Transgenic mice generation, breeding and genotyping; Primary cell and tissue culture; Electrophysiology; in vivo animal work; Advanced skills in bioinformatics; Analysis of mouse behaviour; Basic immunological techniques.
Transferable skills: I am a skilful communicator, able to speak well and write concisely when expressing my ideas. I posses good research and analytical skills; I can identify novel problems, gather data, analyze them and solve these problems. I have excellent interpersonal skills; I can listen, support and motivate others. I can generate new ideas and initiate projects and I am able to successfully manage them, either alone or as part of a team or as a team leader. I can manage my time in a very efficient way, as to never miss deadlines. Finally, I always accept my responsibilities, I am honest and hardworking and I never evade my duties.
