« Το νέο βιβλίο του καθηγητή Μιχάλη Δερμιτζάκη, γραμμένο για ένα ευρύ, καλλιεργημένο αναγνωστικό κοινό, ενημερώνει για τα καινούργια δεδομένα παρουσιάζοντας ταυτόχρονα και όλα τα στοιχεία που αποτελούν το βασικό κορμό γνώσεων της Παλαιοανθρωπολογίας. Το βιβλίο είναι χωρισμένο σε πέντε κεφάλαια. […] Γραμμένο με ευχάριστο τρόπο, χωρίς να θυσιάζει την επιστημονική ακρίβεια, το βιβλίο παρουσιάζει στην αρχή των επιμέρους παραγράφων ρητά, που πηγαίνουν από τον Μαρξ και από τον Δημόκριτο μέχρι τον Σαίξπηρ. Μερικά από τα ρητά αυτά είναι πραγματικά απόλυτα συντονισμένα με το κείμενο που έπεται. Dermitzakis, which is written for a broad and cultivated reading public, gives information about the new facts and, at the same time, presents all the essential and basic evidents of Paleoanthropology. The book “Looking for our ancestors” of professor of Geology and Paleontology in the University of Athens, Michalis Dermitzakis, attempts a revisal of the theories about the origin of the human kind.
