Hey. I'm Dimitris. I am a PhD candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a member of the Management & Economics of Innovation in Telecom Industries Group. My thesis focuses on the techno-economic aspects of 6G networks deployment.
My research interests and activities include technology economics (techno-economics), network design, IoT, engineering & innovation management, strategic planning, digital transformation and web applications. Occasionally, I am freelancing my time as a consultant in these areas.
I hold a BSc in Informatics & Telecommunications, and an MSc in Computer, Telecommunications & Networks Engineering, both from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
I also enjoy learning and teaching, and currently I have designed and am teaching two courses in Greek on IoT, Networking & Cloud and DevOps Engineering via the Continuous Education and Training Centre at the University of Athens.
Until today, I have provided my expertise to several organizations, including the Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission, Nokia R&D Center, the Municipality of Athens, the Hellenic Railways Organization, Information Society S.A., Urban Rail Transport S.A., the Hellenic Army, and the National Observatory of Athens.
In my free time, I like to ride my adventure bike, play bouzouki, travel, and automate or hack stuff around 🧑🏻💻.
