The question is: if we are internally entangled with
anything else around us, by how much is our brain’s
thinking process directly affecting our environment?
The reverse occurs after all: our environment can
affect our mental state.
So, experiments were designed to test the possible
effects of the observer’s consciousness, one’s mental
state, directly on the state of a physical system, e.g.
the outcomes of a stochastic natural process.
