MicroPK results
The main features of the MicroPK
database as depicted on its funnel plot are:
1. The funnel plot is significantly
broadened: The 95% confidence interval
(blue dashed curves) cannot adequately
envelope the 95% of data. They need to be
replaced by the broadened red curves.
2. The MicroPK database is significantly
biased. The plot is asymmetric due to
unreported experimental results
(publication bias): The statistical average of
data (vertical dash-dotted line) does not
coincide with the most representative effect
size (vertical dash line).
