Dimitris Kenourgios is Assistant Professor of Finance at the National and Kapodistrian
University of Athens (NKUA), Faculty of Economics.
He received a BSc degree from NKUA, Faculty of Economics (1995),
MSc degree in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham (UK),
Department of Economics (1996), and PhD degree in Finance from the NKUA,
Faculty of Economics (2000).
He has taught at the Athens University of Economics and Business (Department of Accounting and Finance and Department of International and European Economic Studies), the University of Piraeus (Department of Banking and Financial Management), the University of Thessaly (Department of Economics), and in master programs organized by the University of Strathclyde (U.K) and University of Wales (U.K) in Greece.
Among other journals, his work appears in Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, The Manchester School, Small Business Economics, Journal of Multinational Financial Management, Journal of Policy Modeling, Applied Financial Economics, Research in International Business and Finance, Journal of Economic Studies, Applied Economics Letters, Global Business and Economics Review, Economia Internazionale, Journal of Economic Integration.
His research work has also been presented extensively in international academic conferences. He has served as a referee in several academic journals, and a member of editorial advisory boards of international academic journals. Finally, he has an extensive experience in executive training and e-learning services in the areas of investments, financial derivatives, capital markets and corporate finance.
