(back to homepage)                                                                       Teaching career                                                           Short CV Publications - I was born in Kavala, Greece.   - I studied Classics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (B.A.)   and the University of Leeds (M.A. and Ph.D.).   - My main research interests include: • Augustan epic • Roman elegy • Ancient etymology • Roman novel • Roman lyric poetry • Roman drama • Reception of Latin literature in the 20th and 21st centuries    - I currently teach Latin Literature and Language (Associate Professor)   at the Faculty of Philology, Department of Classics,   National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
