The choice to construct a personal webpage is politically informed and motivated by the need to present my public identity to colleagues in the academic world, but also to people who are concerned about the crucial social issues linked to European citizenry today.

As such, this webpage comprises my attempt to bring together, under a single sheath, my academic endeavours (involving critical analyses of English and European literary texts and other expressions of the Anglophone culture) with my political involvement in the social affairs in my country (expressed through my writings in the media and social activism).
